Doula Care

At the core, a doula is a stabilizing force, a heart-centered presence. My role is to provide unconditional loving support, treading with great care and humbleness through delicate times of transition.

 
The word ‘doula’ comes from the ancient Greek meaning ‘a woman who serves’ and is now used to refer to a trained and experienced professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support.

The transitions through life (birth, moving, new job, divorce, loss), while natural consequence of being human, hold moments that can be extremely stressful, sad, overwhelming, and consuming. I provide a second set of hands to support you with everyday living duties, such as meal preparation, household duties; empowering new lifestyle routines that emphasize balance and wellness; and rejuvenating body treatments to reduce stress in busy times. Read More...


END OF LIFE & BEREAVEMENT

Working alongside hospice and supporting caregivers, an end of life doula provides deeper meaning and greater comfort to the dying. By supporting those in their final days and their loved ones in process, I hold a gentle and loving space to unfold and honor these sacred moments.
